We are getting very excited about St Veronica's VBS!  We are looking forward to having your children join us this year for a week filled with FAITH, FRIENDSHIP, & FUN.  Below is information to answer most of your questions and make the camp run more smoothly.  If there are any questions or if I left anything out contact me at vbs@stveronica.net.

Registration begins on-line and by paper form on March 8, 2020.

 

Packet Registration, CDs and Assignments:  You may pick up your registration packet, family CD and group assignment(s) in the Parish Hall on Sunday, July 12th between 8:30 am and 12:30 p.m.  If you are out of town on that particular Sunday and cannot make it, you can pick up registration materials on Sunday, July 19th between 6:00 -7:00 p.m in the Parish Hall.  We ask that you come one of those days because the first day of camp is very hectic and it is challenging to distribute materials at that time.

Dates and Time:  July 20-July 24  8:50-12:15.

 

8:50-9:00 Parents will walk their Cathlete(s) to the classroom to meet their Coaches & Jr Coaches and to check Cathletes in for their events.  Classrooms will be on the school side of the building.  The meeting location will be in your registration packet.

​

- If you arrive to drop your Cathlete(s) off after 9:00 please bring them to the Parish Hall to meet up with their Coach and check them in.

 

9:05–9:30 – Opening Ceremony in the Parish Hall (Parents are welcome to join us)

9:35 – 9:55 – Event #1

 

10:00 – 10:20 – Event #2

 

10:25 – 10:45 – Refueling Station (Snack)

 

10:50 – 11:10 – Event #3

 

11:15 – 11:35  - Event #4

 

11:40 – 12:00 – Closing Ceremony in the Parish Hall (Parents are welcome to join us)

12:10/12:15—Parents will pick up their Cathlete(s) in the same classroom where they dropped them off in the morning on the school side

 

Attending Mass on Friday July 24

On Friday after Closing Ceremony in the Parish Hall, Cathletes will attend the 12:15pm daily mass with their VBS group and Group Leaders.  We invite all parents to attend mass as well and then join us for light refreshments after mass where the Cathletes will perform some of the songs and dances learned during the week.  They will be led by some of our Junior Coaches.

 

 Groupings:  This year Vacation Bible School will be divided by grade groupings to have age appropriate lessons and activities.  Each group will have approximately 8 Cathletes.  Each event will have 2 or more groups in attendance at a time. 

​

Snacks:  Children will receive a light snack and water during their Refueling Station around 10:30am.  The specific snacks that will be served can be found on the Snack page.  There is also water out at the field at the games station.  The snack is light, so please be sure they have breakfast before they come.  If you are willing and able to donate any items for snack, I set up a Sign Up HERE.  Items need to be at the church on Thursday July 16th.  Thank you!

Allergies:  Please see the snack page regarding specific snacks we will serve during the week.  We have attempted to avoid all common allergies of nuts/peanuts as well as offering fun and healthy options.  PLEASE let us know if your child can participate with the snack provided or if he/she will need a modification by emailing vbs@stveronica.net.
